Objectives:

  • Physical activity - to motivate children of schools, clubs and other institutions or groups to get involved in physical activity and to find out on their own the advantages of regular exercise.
  • Social interaction – Team building and social interaction are promoted by the “IAAF KIDS’ ATHLETICS” camp. To promote athletics emphatically as a team event stimulates children to work together and to realize the importance of cooperation.
  • To enable participants who are physically unfit, overweight or underweight to improve their condition through appropriate remediation

Conclusion:

On the whole, the camp was a successful event. The instructors emphasize on skill development during the camp. The participants were noted to have displayed well the skills that they have learned. They enjoyed themselves and had a lot of fun competing. Please refer to the survey below.
